Todd grew up in Cleveland, Ohio with grease under his fingernails before most kids had a job. By age 12 he was already tearing into small engines — mopeds, snowblowers, lawn mowers — teaching himself how mechanical things work the only way that really sticks: hands on. That curiosity never left him.

After graduating high school in 2000, Todd enrolled at Universal Technical Institute (UTI) to put a formal foundation under everything he’d already taught himself. He graduated in 2003 with Honda motorcycle certification in hand and immediately relocated to San Diego — a city built for people who love the water, the road, and the outdoors.

Todd joined San Diego BMW Motorcycles (formerly Brattin BMW) and worked his way up to Master Certification — the highest technical level BMW awards. Alongside his shop work he served as mechanic for the SD BMW AMA Superbike race team and took on a range of outside motorsport projects, building a reputation for precision under pressure.

In 2012, a conversation with a close friend who shared his love of riding and boating opened an unexpected door into the marine industry — and Todd never looked back. He pursued factory training with Yanmar Marine, Rehlko (formerly Kohler) Marine Generators, and Whisper Power, building the expertise to diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical systems across every make and model of marine diesel and generator. Endurance Marine was born from that foundation.

When he’s not in the engine room, Todd is out on the water aboard his own Carver 370 Voyager berthed at Humphreys Half Moon Marina. He’s happily married with two daughters who share his love of boating. Off the water, Todd pushes himself in ultramarathon running and competitive downhill mountain bike racing — the same drive for precision and endurance that defines his work.
